Wagstaffe Hall - Information and Hiring

Wagstaffe Hall is situated on the waterfront, overlooking beautiful Brisbane Water, at
55 Wagstaffe Avenue, Wagstaffe.

The hall is available for hire for weddings, parties, meetings, concerts, seminars etc. It can seat approx 120 people for a concert or meeting; and up to 100 people seated at tables for a wedding or party. At one end of the hall is a stage and, on the waterfront side, two sets of double glass doors which open onto a large verandah.


The hall also has the following facilities:

  • Air Conditioning
  • 150 stackable chairs ( first 30 - in body of hall - no charge)
  • 16 rectangular tables seating up to 8 people
  • 12 square tables seating up to 4 people (no charge for these)
  • Modern kitchen area with 2 ovens, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, sinks,
    instant hot water
  • A good quality upright piano

Audio visual equipment:

  • Overhead projector
  • Front and rear audio speakers
  • CD / DVD player
  • Microphones
  • Facility to hook up a computer or CD / DVD to the projector

The cost of hiring the hall is as follows:

Booking fee (non-refundable)
Security & Damages Bond (refundable)

Piano Hire
Use of Projector & CD / DVD
Use of Microphones & Audio System only is free

DEPOSIT: The Booking fee plus a deposit of 50% of your total hire cost is required to secure your  booking.  Please include a cheque when you post your booking form.
 

Please note that most of the above charges are discounted for the following groups or organizations.

  • Non-profit community based groups or organizations (local and out-of-area)
  • Small for profit groups providing a service or benefit to our local community
  • Small group meeting or seminars
