At our Australia Day event we had planned to make 2 awards for Community Recognition. The event itself was cancelled due to Covid concerns in the community, but we have made arrangements to make the awards at upcoming events.
Lisa Mount deserves our thanks for all her efforts in establishing the Home Markets initiative which has now spread well beyond our area. She will receive her award at our Community Meeting 7:30pm Monday 14 February in Wagstaffe Hall.
Michelle Biddulph is recognised for her years of contribution to community safety and wider community engagement through the Killcare RFS and the broader Community Resilience Plan. She will receive her award at the RFS meeting Wednesday March 9 at the Killcare Fire Station.
